Contact your City Councilor:

Friday, March 12, the Minneapolis City Council will vote on our Hospitality Worker Right to Recall ordinance.

Our City Council Members need to hear from as many supporters as possible, will you call your council member and ask them to vote yes on Hospitality Worker Right to Recall ordinance?

This ordinance will to protect hospitality worker economic security during the pandemic and a victory on Thursday will send a strong message that our city cares about hospitality workers.

WHAT YOU COULD SAY WHEN YOU CALL:

I am calling to support recall rights for hospitality workers. They work hard to build our city’s tourism industry. They should have a right to be rehired to positions they lost through no fault of their own as a result of the pandemic. Minneapolis should require their employers to bring them back as they reopen. If not, thousands of workers in Minneapolis—many of them Black, people of color, and women—risk losing their livelihoods. Will you vote YES on Hospitality Worker Right to Recall?
